Walk in My Shoes

“You never really know a man until you understand things from his point of view, until you climb into his skin and walk around in it.”
Lee, Harper. To Kill a Mockingbird.

On Friday we all had a chance to come in in our own clothes and wear whatever shoes we wanted. Everyone who came in with their own clothes on and shoes had to pay two euro to raise money for a mental health charity called Walk In My Shoes this charity promotes positive mental health. Walk in my shoes means that you never know what is happening in someone else's life or what they are thinking about unless you let yourself walk in their shoes, you never know what is going through somebody's head so be careful what you say and think before you say it.
Walk in my shoes is a fundraising event to promoted by Adam Clayton from U2. On Friday Oct 10th it was world mental health day. In think that the idea of everyone wearing funky shoes to school was a really good way  to raise money for the charity and it was a really great idea to bring attention to the fact that you never really know someone unless you walk in their shoes and mental heath is a huge issue worldwide and i don't think people pay enough attention to it.
